Since its inception over forty five years ago, Theatr Bara Caws has continued to offer its unique services to grassroots audiences throughout Wales, providing first class theatrical experiences, bringing entertainment, excitement and ingenuity to the heart of the nation’s communities.

The Company is based in Caernarfon, but by touring extensively our reach extends much further than the boundaries of Gwynedd alone, enabling us to reach people who would not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy live theatrical events. During the last year over 9000 came to see our productions in a variety of locations, from village halls, to theatres, from clubs and pubs to the open air!

We employ an average of 40 freelance practitioners each year, and offer training and mentorship for young technicians to secure the future of the industry in Wales.

As a registered charity (Charity no – 1062896) we rely on grants and donations and your support would enable us to continue to develop, produce and tour great theatre – A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL WHO ALREADY SUPPORT US.
