In Memory of John Gwynedd

We were shocked the other day to hear the sad news of a character we held very dear to our hearts here at Bara Caws - John Gwynedd.

He was a close member of our family, a valued member of the Board of Directors for over 12 years and a witty and fun-loving Chairman for several years. He was a likeable and friendly character, always had smile and a laugh, and still supported us by coming to see every production and always taking the opportunity to have a chat.

The loss will be a big one for us here, for his community in Waunfawr where he was an ear to everyone who needed a word of advice or support, but most of all to his family, and we offer our deepest condolences to them.

Strangely enough, Osian was here working with us at Bara Caws when John died and had agreed to play a key role in our next production, and John loved it. It's nice to feel that a direct link like this lasts between us.
